Policy Statement
» The Cottage is to
be left in a neat and tidy condition with no damage to the property or
its contents beyond normal wear and tear.
» All dishes are to be washed and all
trash removed from the premises and placed in outside receptacles. Please
leave linens in the baskets in the bedroom closets to be laundered after
your departure.
» The cottage accommodates a maximum
of six guests. This includes all children except for infants in a crib.
» Furnishings are not to be removed
from the property for use outside.
» No pets are permitted in the cottage
or on the premises.
» No Smoking is permitted in the cottage
or on the premises.
» Reservations are NOT made by or for
a minor. Reservations made under false pretenses may be subject to forfeiture
of advance deposits.
» All keys are to be returned to Cricket
and Gail Kroenke at 403 W. Mechanic upon your departure. There will be
a $10.00 charge per key if not returned.
» Cancellations - We ask that you cancel
your reservation no later than 14 days prior to your scheduled arrival
to avoid a $50.00 cancellation fee.
» Refunds will not be given for late arrivals or early departures.
» Check-in time begins at 3 p.m. and
every effort will be made to have the cottage ready on time. We appreciate
your patience should the completion of the cottage be unavoidably delayed.
Your rent balance must be received by Marquette Cottage at 403 W. Mechanic
prior to check-in. Checkout time is promptly at 11 a.m., so that we may
prepare for our next arrival. This includes all persons, vehicles and
luggage.
» Parking is limited to a maximum of
three vehicles. Parking of boats, jet skis, trailers and/or RVs is NOT
allowed. There is no on-street parking permitted on Mechanic Street. This
policy is strictly enforced. Please park on the asphalt driveway. Do not
park on the grass.
» There is a telephone in the cottage
for your convenience. Long distance calls can be charged to a calling
card or made as collect calls. An explanation is attached.
» Occupants must comply with all city,
state, and federal laws and regulations.
» Marquette Cottage property owners
will not be held responsible for acts of theft or vandalism or other damages
to the guest's personal property items left in the cottage. Every effort
will be made to return any items left, but we assume no responsibility
for such items.
» All contact numbers which you may
need can be found in the welcome booklet on the kitchen desk.
» We hope you enjoy a simply delightful
short term stay at
Marquette Cottage.
